Plus, Im pretty comfortable with keiland Williams, the guy's a BEAST!!! Not to mention Hester, Broussard, Scott, Holliday, Murphy,.. we got one for every situation, so I dont think we need him at this point, let SC or Bama have him, then let us destroy either/both of them on national TV, that would give a strong message to all La prospects considering any school other than LSU!!

Hurricane, I don't necessarily disagree with you about JM, OK, actually I do, but I'm just wondering if you have ever seen him in action? You're right that *'s don't matter, but if JM were to be accurately rated, they'd have to create a NEW star system, maybe even name a planet after him.

Actually I've seen his videos, looks like a RB. But the point here is, Addai is having a finer season than reggie, thats the idea, *'s dont matter!!

So far, yes Addai is having the better first year in the NFL. In part the style of back Reggie is, always trying to cut it to the outside is a huge part of that. All that is besides the point here. McKnight is a very specialy talent. The Bush comparisons arent fair until he shows he can play at the college level, but he is in that same mold. Exceptional all around back who can do it all. McKnight can also be very dangerous as a return man. He is widely regarded as the best return man in HS football. McKnight, like Bush provide far more than JUST RB stats. They can give you returns as well. Each is a big play waiting to happen. No matter how great a back is, very few are capable of a game breaking play everytime they touch the ball. McKnight is that kind of a player.

To tell u the truth, the only guy I have faith in him as a big play threat everytime u hand him the ball is D-MAC, man he's going places!!

EDIT: Also, I dont know who is going to be more successful Addai or Bush, but both have a lot to learn, so expect Addai to go far 2. McKnight is awesome, great recruit and great attention, but he is not THE key of this LSU team, the thing about our offense that distinguishes us from a lot of teams is that we were well rounded, great QB, great set of WRs and a good RB (although late in the season). So its not like LSU is an Arkansas that needs D-MAC on their team.

First of all, Reggie is not even a running back as far as I'm concerned. And secondly, JM wouldn't be a running back, per se, either. He would be a PLAYMAKER! The very thing that makes Reggie so dangerous is that defenses MUST respect his playmaking abilities, no matter where he lines up. This opened up the Saints offense all season, allowing for prolific #'s for so many players, and the offense as a whole. Now, imagine JM in the same position in a Crowton offense. Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking happy thoughts when I think about that.:thumb:

Exactly. You can't look at rushing stats to tell how successful Bush has been. You need to look at everything. And that is no knock on JA, he is having a great year and his going to get even better.

McKnight should be a very similar player to Bush. He most likely will not get the carries a premiere TB would get, but he will get the touches and he will score TD's. I'm not sure if he will be able to make the same moves as Reggie did at USC, the guy was incredible.
