I don like the sounds coming from McKnight. After meeting with new Tiger OC Gary Crowton, McKnight described Crowton as "very nice." He added that things are still pretty much the way they were before the meeting, but added that Crowton may help LSU "get ahead." "Very nice" is not a very enthusiastic description. In addition, what is this about helping LSU to "get ahead?' It sounds like USC is in the catbird's seat right now for McKnight's services.
I don't have a good feeling about McKnight, either. I think, and I know I may be the only one, that CNS is making more progress than we think with him. I don't have a subscription to Rivals, but there is a story about Saban and McKnight today.
I have read a lot of your posts, and respect your opinion. That said, I just have a bad feeling, and can't wait til 2-7-07. That's my birthday, by the way, so maybe it'll be a happy one.:thumb:
Joe doesn't show much emotion. He never seems very excited about LSU, but he doesn't show any excitement about USC or Bama either. Alabama has not shot at getting Joe, it will be either USC or LSU, and those in the know feel good about LSU's chances.
If you say so, Yoda. I said yesterday you're like a Jedi when it comes to this stuff, so I'll trust "the force" until I have reason not to.
I don't think Saban has a shot at McKnight. He has limited his choices to LSU and USC, and it is a little late in the game for Saban to swing him around.
I believe Cparso, McKnight is leaning to LSU. Of course USC is capable of stealing him, but Im confident he will be a Tiger. Lets just hope that McKnights trip to USC this weekend doesnt go too well. McKnight is naturally an even keel personality. So he wont show the emotions over a meeting. Plus he is a youngster, he is playing the recruiting game all the way. It must be fun being able to have so many people at the edge of their seats. Toying with their emotions.
I agree that he appears very mature. Just take a look at his history, that tells you right there that he had to grow up early. I dont mean it in a bad way, but anyone would love to be courted by the elite colleges in the country.
