I guess to make room for Daniels but still can't believe it though. Seems like they would make cuts at another position besides Cornerback where we need the help at and depth especially with the potentials teams in the playoffs who they may play against they will need 4 cornerbacks total with 2 being Greer and Porter. Hopefully they can find another cornerback that can contribute in the playoffs.

Side note: Mckenzie was missing some tackles though

Seems like a temp move so they can get a backup QB for Sunday. They'll probably resign him next week, at least I hope so. I like him.

Hope you are right, RHans. I love Mike McKenzie and I hope we re-sign him.

+1. He deserves one more shot at a playoff run.

I like McKenzie but why does he "deserve" one more shot at a playoff run? Does he deserve it based on what he did prior to joining the Saints? I can't say I've been impressed with his years as a Saint and thought he was WAY overpaid for what he contributed.

I was happy to see him play well against New England but he semed to revert back to his previous play in the next few games.

If we have to resign him I believe it will be a bad sign for the defense and probably signal the end of the season. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't believe he's very good anymore.

Maybe someday the Saints will have a top CB. We're at 43 years and counting...
