Hate to see a kid grow up without his dad. Dads, be sure to go home and hug your children tonight, this future LSU player (assuming he makes it) has no memory of one. Hope he does well at LSU, sounds like he knows what he wants and has a plan. He's already won half of the battle.
He's coming here to be a coach. I believe this is the 2nd such type of walk-on with aspirations of being a coach. I'm not positive, but I think the transfer walk-on QB from Stanford wants to be a coach. This must be a compliment to our coaching staff.
One of Bill McCartney's biggest criticisms is that his daughter was behaving promiscuously with several members of the football team, and it didn't quite reflect so well on his position as head of the Promise Keepers organization. (She has 2 children by ex-CU football players) As most coaches undoubtedly realize, it's quite difficult to be responsible to one's family and be head of a D-1 football program at the same time.
Talk about a weird situation, but let's keep in mind we're now talking about the mother of one of our players.
