Mayo in the pantry?

    I keep it in the fridge because if it's left out it turns rancid pretty quickly. I will microwave the amount I need for 10 or 15 seconds to make it more spreadable.

    never had that happen and neither did my mom or Grandmother or aunts, etc

    I keep all of our condiments in the fridge, mayo, mustard, butter, etc. Not sure why other than that's how my parents did it when I was a kid.

    We do mayo in the fridge, same with mustard. We have a butter dish that we keep a stick in, real butter not the fake margarine bullshit. The other sticks go in the fridge until it's time to replace the stick in the dish ketchup is always in the pantry

    I don't keep mustard in the fridge. No reason to do it or not. Can't tell the difference in taste like it was ketchup. My mom didn't keep it in the fridge and it never crossed my mind that people would do that until I saw it. Mustard lasts forever. Stuff must have the same half life as plutonium.
