I remember sitting in Section 38, and there were maybe 30 of us in the whole section! When I was a kid, my friends and I would talk to the security guards, and they'd let us in free, just to have a few more fans in the stands! Time's surely have changed!

OK Ive only showing two of the four years here but im not gonna do all of your homework......

    2007 Team rushing leaders
    #4 Arkansas
    #17 Washington
    #20 Florida
    #24 USC
    # 25 Ohio state
    #38 Georgia
    #39 Oregon State
    #42 Cal
    #11 Houston
    #44 Michigan
    #14 Fresno State
    #34 South Florida
    #33 Tulane
    #48 West Virginia

    2010 Team Rushing Leaders
    #3 Auburn
    #16 Miss State
    #18 Stanford
    #24 Ole Miss
    #30 Alabama
    #36 Washington
    #39 Florida
    #40 SCarolina
    #44 UCLA
    #42 ATM
    #50 LA TECH

Notice ive only did the top 50 Teams and the 2008 and 2009 seasons are similar to these two seasons is because 2007 was a greater seperation and in 2010 both teams had high rating in rush defense....... my point is this for your team to have a greater ranking ur team plays some not so great running teams..... as opposed to our teams have high rushing defense but play high quality rushing opp.

EDIT Source for team rushing is ESPN http://http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing/sort/rushingYards

just give logic to the poster stats......if i wanted to really break it down further I would break down the conf and where there defenses rank....such as in 2007 when houston was ranked 11th in rushing there conf was in a down year while they were good were they that good.....

We have found that you can sustain long drives with the run. Infrequent passing doesn't mean NO passing. If Oregon stacks the line, LSU will throw. If Oregon backs off and covers the receivers, LSU can sustain a clock-eating ground game that frustrates offenses standing on the sidelines.

Jefferson will complete passes. He won't complete 250 yards of it, though.

But if he does, Oregon is going to have its hands full with LSU.

Now ya'll pack in around 59K, with a stadium that holds 54K? How do you do it?

On the other side of the ball, last year we heard about the team speed of WV and Noel Devine. This was the same WV that had a total 177 offensive yards in the game.

They do it with SRO (Standing Room Only) tickets. 2/3's of the stadium is open on top, so they sell extra tickets for those who want to stand the whole game (We stand almost the whole game anyway!). It's usually 2 to 3 deep around the top. There's talk of expansion (11,000 or so seats), but with the new basketball arena completion, and the just started construction of the 6 story football complex, it'll be a few years before that'll happen.

So with the expansion, that puts you at 65K. At LSU we hold 92.4K but last years # was 92,718 Adv. Many fans never make it into the game, they tailgate (Eat, Drink, watch the game) while the game is going on.

I'm giving you an invite, I'll handle your food and booze for the day.....
