p Yes I think it would be better losing to mcneese early and beating the gumps. Remember most people forget what happens early in the year. If we lose that game and run the table we are in the NC picture no question IMO Also mcneese is out of conf.
I believe that by most fans and the team's perspective this season was mediocre. A major disappointment to me for sure, it harkened back to the last several years of Cholly Mac where we beat the crummy teams on our schedule lost to the two good teams on our schedule and split with the 3 other mediocre teams we played. Very similar to the previous two seasons, and I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed in our program. This year needed to be a year of reaffirmation for Les and the program. It fell woefully short. I sooo wish we would have said goodbye to Les and gotten Herman and Aranda.
Unfortunately, this is going to end up like finding not quite enough of a $100 bill to make it worth anything
I was just saying that today. Oh what a perfect championship winning marriage. Now we have to go back to enduring a 13-10 loss to Alabama because moron still can't produce an offense.
LSU should beat Alabama next season. The Stars haven't been aligned like they will be next year since 2006. The question is will they? Will water head finally figure out that in order to beat them with Saban at the helm you must be able to throw the football. Which will mean whomever is slinging the rock prior to that game will need as much in game passing reps as possible. You don't have to air out 50 times a game, you must have a quarterback that can go out and win that game for you unless your defense and special teams are dominant and even then victory isn't guaranteed.
OK, I'm going to take a crack at out 2-deep entering 2016. This assumes no true freshmen crack the lineup, and also assumes Hawkins, Pocic, Beckwith and White all go pro. XR - Malachi Dupre, Jazz Ferguson LT - Maea Teuhema, K.J. Malone LG - Josh Boutte, Garrett Brumfield C - Andy Dodd, William Clapp RG - William Clapp, Adrian Magee RT - K.J. Malone, Toby Weatherby TE - DeSean Smith, Colin Jeter YR - Travin Dural, Trey Quinn ZR - Tyron Johnson, D.J. Chark QB - Brandon Harris, Danny Etling TB - Leonard Fournette, Derrius Guice FB - John David Moore, Bry'keithon Mouton Assuming a full-time conversion to Aranda's 3-4 DE - Davon Godchaux, Frank Herron NG - Christian LaCouture, Greg Gilmore DE - Lewis Neal, Tashawn Bower OLB - Arden Key, Grant Leger ILB - Duke Riley, Devin Voorhies ILB - Sione Teuhema, Devin Voorhies OLB - Ronnie Feist, Donnie Alexander CB - Kevin Tolliver II, Dwayne Thomas CB - Donte Jackson, Ed Paris SS - Jamal Adams, Corey Thompson FS - Ricky Jefferson, John Battle Needless to say, the big issue here is linebacker. Take out the seniors and Beckwith, and we don't even have 8 LBs on the roster. I've converted Key and Teuhema from ends and moved Feist back to LB from FB.
I think you have TE wrong, Dillon Gordon will be your 1, then Jeter, then Smith. No need for a pass catching tight end in this offense. Also, with your line backing corps, Jesus we are going to suck if that's our rotation.
Gordon is a senior, but if he is granted another year I would have him number one. On your linebacker comment.....yes
