No need to be. The Mavs did not play up to their potential but GS was on fire. They have peaked at the right time and are shooting lights out. It is very disapointing as a Mav's fan but we ran into a buzz saw(See Miami Hurricanes Peach Bowl 2005). It will probably force Cuban to make some changes which is a good thing.

And think of the GS fans, ten+ years without even being in the playoffs. They now play the Rockets who are in the second round for the first time in 10 years.

Hell yeah there is reason to be embarrassed. you won 67 games and got bounced in the first round because your team is made up of a bunch of soft cowards with ZERO heart.

If the players had half of the desire to win as their coach we wouldn't be having this conversation. That team is weak and needs a player with a set of balls who isn't scared to say 'f*** it give me the ball and I'll win this motherf***er by myself if I have to.'

Instead you're stuck with a bunch of roll players built around a 7 foot cream puff who looks like the freaking dude off 'The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe'

Rockets haven't won their series yet..

Wow!! You attack Dirk's looks and took the time to post some pictures of some fantasy character I have never heard of.

Thus, it is probably pointless of me to ask but....

Do you really think that you have specific insight into how much certain athletes 'desire' to win?

I am terrified to think where the team would be without Kobe.

Wothout Kobe, the Lakers would actually be able to put a good team on the floor. Instead of one guy who scores all the points and a bunch of cheap and crappy role players. Kobe should take a pay cut and get some good players around him if he ever wants to win another title.

Its not like NBA stars dont want to go play for L.A. but they dont want to go be a pawn behind Kobe the ball hog.
