Technically, there is Terrelle (sp?) Pryor but that isn't realistically going to happen. There has been alot of scuttelbutt about LSU being high with several should be high ranked QBs in the '09 class, particularly someone named Karam in Texas. His father is an LSU alumni.
We will go for D. Thomas now as an athletic qb. Next year we will go for another big time pro style qb. Jimbo was correct in telling EJ that RP and Lee are so good that he would be sitting on the bench for 4 years before he got to play. It is sort of hard for me to believe that La hasn't produced a top notch qb since RP.
He might not have done anything on the field yet, but other coaches are going to tell recruits he is amazing trying to scare them away from LSU.
I asked that question a while ago about Terrelle Pryor. Wish we could some how get on his list if we even attempted. We missed out on Vince Young barely so we should definitely try with the "2nd Vince Young". But for real i guess we will try to lock up Darron Thomas and DC Jefferson who has the numbers to be good 6'6 240 and run a 4.7. Maybe that James Landry might have a big year at Assumption and we get him. Has anybody heard anymore info on the QB from GA something Tuggle.
:thumb: He made the decision after attending camp there........how huge it that? Camps are such an essential tool in securing top prospects. I wish LSU really went all out and got a huge sponsor, media-hyped, and widely promoted camp. It would do a lot in bringing more top prospects here.
