People believe me because I back up what I say.

What do you suppose Matthews is? He's not a news anchor. He's an editorialist! You apply double standards to everything you see. We are not fooled.

And, as usual, you cite NONE of them!

    SO IS MATTHEWS!!!:insane:

Hardball is a political talk show, Mattews is a political commentator. Just . . . like . . . Limbaugh. Double standards at play, as usual.

find anyone besides a liberal as left as you that believes that.

You wouldn't know a liberal if he jumped up and bit you on the ass.

Tossing insults is a sad substitute for an argument. Typical . . . but sad.

It really does get them going doesn't it.

You can underestimate me if you're foolish enough. Make your case. Take me on, Einstein. :insane:

Yes, proof. People keep stating "facts" not in evidence. You are no different.

It's not neccessary to call me Jeesus.

I think the issue shouldn't be that Matthews voices his opinions, but that there are so many more talking heads that share his leftist, liberal views appearing on the majority of what the mainstream media provides. CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. Katie Couric is supposed to be a journalist, but she is hardly unbias, and it shows. When these stations have conservatives on, generally they're grilled, but when liberals are on, they're thrown soft balls.

Fox News is the opposite. Although they have more liberals appearing on their network versus the conservatives appearing on other networks, they are still more appologetic/easy on conseratives than liberals.

keep your false teeth away from me.

wasnt meant as an insult. I guess it was if you're really serious but i had hoped you had better foresight than that.

    deservedly if you believe it.

I can google with the best of em. I just prefer to speak my own mind.

is the sky blue? let's start with the basics then work our way down to the less obvious crap.

you're much closer to hay-suus, main.

Plenty of evidence to support the media bias for Obama. It's been posted in other threads and either ignored or discounted. Not surprising to see it continued here as well.

I imagine some of the bias is related to the general feeling that Bush has been pretty bad. The country is biased against Bush and proportionately the Republican party.

I can't defend the media, all media was biased against Ron Paul and the third parties.

I think this is just perception on your part. I see bias in the media, too, but I see it on both sides.

Also people say "media" bias and then all they use for examples are TV. Media also includes movies, radio, books, newspapers, and the Internet. When you take all media into account the biases are quite balanced. Hollywood is liberal, books and radio are conservative, while TV, newspapers, and the Internet are a very mixed bag.
