Every broadcast I have ever heard him on (NFL Network, today with the Ohio State/Iowa game), he just exudes a less than 30 IQ in just about every statement he ever utters. He can't comprehend basic human thought. And he was running an NFL team. Well running into the ground, to be perfectly clear. Wow.
Dierdorf is actually quite smart but very irritating as he always points out the obvious as if he is saying something quite profound.
I'll never forget way back in the day when Dierdorff talked much trash about Saints fans when they cheered when Steve Walsh was our QB and got injured in the game. The next game someone in the Dome had a sign that said, "Dan Dierdorff get a job!" I don't know if Millen is stupid or not, but he damn sure screwed the Detroit organization into the ground for years. Worst GM evar! They're just starting to undo the screwery that he did to them.
Last night in the Jets/Bengals game, his son, in the military, wished him a Happy Thanksgiving from Iraq and added, "don't say anything stupid". Almost made him cry.
