If thus game was all about stats and numbers they wouldn't play them. Mauck, even with his numbers looked better. He also won a NC, something Jennings won't even sniff.
When your defense forces turnovers to give you short fields and holds the opponent to about 10 points or less, you can have a so-so QB like Mauck and win it all. Jennings does not have that luxury this year, it would appear.
It appears that Jennings doesn't have a whole lot....apart from a coach who shows blind loyalty towards him. Jordan Jefferson anyone? On the flip side of that coin, we don't want Harris to go through the same crap that Jarrett Lee did his freshman year.
WTF? Who brought up Napoleon? I think its you MF'rs that cant let go because you just can't wait to talk about him. I thought this thread was about Matt Mauck and Tony Jennings?
Ah, but the point of your post was to intimate that Matt Mauck had as slow a start to his career as Jennings has had, yet Mauck went on to become the starting QB on a national championship team. Therefore, it is possible Jennings could do the same thing. Mauck was the perfect QB for Saban's system. Randall was not good enough to get it done (much like Jennings). If Rivers was Jennings backup, then you'd have a point.
