If Mett is near as good as many think then he will get 95% of the snaps, but do not be surprised to see someone in the RP role a few times per game.

I agree totally. I had mentioned on this sight before about TM7 running the Wild Cat a few times on offense. Would help his Heisman chances
same a Desmond Howard did in his run playing defense and offense. I agree to give Mett a breather I would love to see TM7 in the Wild Cat ! WOW........

He would definitely be a weapon as a wildcat quarterback on third and short, 4th and short. If a 300 lb quarterback can't get you a yard, you got issues.

Anyone who believes Tyrann Mathieu will play offense next season, run some version of the wildcat, or some other gimmick offense, or wtf ever else you're dreaming of, keep dreaming. Try thinking rationally, not like a kid.

The guy is a defender, period.

I am of the opinion (and certainly may be in the minority) that Miles really wants to have a one QB system. When presented with lemons you make lemonade. I think Miles knew that what he had at QB with JJ and JL the last 4 years was shyt. I think he had to make himself believe that he had to use two QB's and really had to sell himself, his coaches, his team and the fans on the fact that both QB's "were improving" from year to year. Bottom line is that neither JJ or JL were good. 2012 will be an interesting season and will say a lot about Miles as a coach, both as one who can/cannot develop players and also as one who lays the stubborness to the side and develops our Offense into the machine it can be. We have the players to do so, we now just need the coach who will allow it to happen.

CLM with a dual-threat quarterback is like a three year with a gun. He knows ine end shoots, but he doesn't know where to point it.

Yes, but I do not want us to become Ok. St. I would much rather the offense we ran with Matt Flynn, play action pass off the run, and only 3, 4 and 5 reciever sets to throw in a wrinkle. The difference will be that now we will have an accurate QB at the throttle. He should have been an option last year but I digress.

Oh come on Kajun, why would you need Mett as an option when you have Jordan Jefferson running the option? Note extreme sarcasm....

If we do have a 2 QB system next year, I would expect Jerrard Randall to be the dual threat guy. I expect Liggins will red shirt, and try to shed any bad weight he has on his frame. At his size, any bad weight will turn him into the NFL version of Jamarcus Russell, which as you know was horrible...
