We'll win but it will be closer than most think b/c of the QB "situation".

Well, actually you can. Jean-Francois, Beckwith, Scott, and Byrd will be plugged and they will definitely play.

Is this douche actually saying that Appalachian State will win because they have a hot QB and a championship trophy? I hope they bring more than that. They won I-AA a few years ago but got shut out against LSU.

I think it's a great article and I'm very glad he wrote it. Hopefully every Tiger player reads it a hundred times. The last thing I want Tiger players reading is a thousand articles saying the apps don't stand a chance. The only way the Tigers lose is if they are looking past this game, articles like this make it much less likely.:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

I just get a feeling that we will do what we are supposed to do and beat Appy St. like we should. They have lost a few key guys and they will not be sneaking up on us like they did to UM last year.

I will predict that the following game against Troy will be closer than the Appy game. I think they have a comparable team to Appy St. and we could overlook the talent that they have. Troy is not very deep but their starting lineup is not bad and we get them early before much a chance for their team to deflate from a key injury or 2. They beat Oklahoma St. last year scoring 41 on them, Lost to UF but scored 31 points, and lost to UGA by 10 points putting up 34 points. They put some guys in the NFL and there team is bringing back many of their playmakers.

That guy just wants people to read his column and complain. Their QB is dangerous, but we're going to wax that Appy A**. Mich would have destroyed them if they would have not tried to be fancy and throw the ball in the second and third quarters. We'll rush for 400 yards on them BOOK IT!!!

Frankly I like the hype given to Appy State. More the better. I look at it as an insurance policy. With out the hype (and thanks to Michigan), what ever score we end up with (even with the 24-0) score from last time when we met is not going to mean any thing. Think about it..

Scenario 1 : No hype at all. LSU wins 24-0. No one cares about it. "Big deal.. LSU should be winning it", in fact votes may put us down saying we should have won it by 50 points.

Scenario 2 : Extremely hyped and lot of folks giving Appy State a chance. We win 24-0 and we get all the brownie points that we can gather especially considering out non-conference schedule.

    Geaux tigers..

if he's so positive of a win, how much is he betting on the game?
And since his team will win straight up, he doesn't need points.
