While I think Flynn has what it takes to be a starter in the NFL, I'm a little skeptical that an NFL team would give him a "starting QB" contract. Fortunately for Flynn, he played well last year when Rodgers missed a game or two late in the year.
He'll be paid at the low end of the starting QB spectrum; Kyle Orton, Rex Grossman-type money. What matters is if there are teams out there that will give him a chance to prove he's a starter. Do that for 2 or 3 years, and the bigger money will come.
