... but not making nearly as much money. Then again, he must already have a big bank roll. We'll see if he really wants to be a back-up in the NFL.
He must have done something to piss someone off in the Raiders organization. They threw him under the bus and demoted him to 3rd string after his only start and then cut him a week later. It doesn't add up, but then again it is the Raiders and they don't exactly add up either.
As bad as we need a QB in Jacksonville, I would not want him here. This team is in too much disarray for any QB to do well. Besides, there are too many idiots in this town that still want Tim Tebow. Someone is even running local radio ads trying to stir up fan support for such a ridiculous hire. Flynn would be better off anywhere else but Jax.
Just saw on ESPN that he has averaged over $500,000 per completion in his NFL games. (Over $14 million overall). Playing back-up sounds like its a pretty good gig!
Matt Moore (Oregon State) is Tannehill's back up, then they have Pat Devlin (Deleware). But I think Devlin got hurt in the preseason.
Tuel is the QB who is starting the last I heard, but they are looking for someone to come in. Pat White was the last guy I heard who was going to go in for a physical and tryout.
He probably refused to go on the field with the awful offensive line. He was going to get killed out there. Pryor's ability to make plays with his feet is the only reason he started over Flynn. Flynn was doomed from the start with the Raiders. Miami, Green Bay, New Orleans, Kansas City, Tennessee, may be some good ones for him.
I would think the Vikings would've given him a chance but they grabbed Freeman before Flynn was released. He could have a solid career if he was on a team with a good line and good receiving core. But so could many other QB's in the NFL. He has shown he can perfrom with a good cast, he would then have to prove his consistency. Who would've see the Russell Wilson explosion in Seattle. Sux for Flynn and the Raiders won't do anything with Pryor either.
