I'm happy for JL and hope his dream comes through! As to all the comments about last year and anyone's performance at LSU LET IT GO. Focus on Mett and the 2012 Tigers!

Remind me again .... what pro team sucked up Jefferson??

Lee's problem with Bama was CLM. The play calling, the offense was designed for JJ, not Lee. Even in the BCSNCG ... CLM's play calling was pathetic .. and propably played a big role in JJ looking so bad.

    BUT .. I DIGRESS ...

Jarrett did great, and I'm glad that the end of the LSU season and the raw hand he was dealt was not held against him. He's getting a chance, and did darn well. 235 yards!!! ... when was the last time you saw Miles put that kind of trust in Lee?? Didn't happen. Lee played all last season with a monkey on his back .. constantly looking over his shoulder ... not wondering "if" ..but "when" CLM was going to relegate him back to the bench.

I doubt he'll be the starter for the Chargers [I don't know much about them, I'm guessing they have a seasoned QB who has that position already wrapped up] .. but that would be a real hoot if he does. What would be an even greater hoot .. is if he leads them to a winning season.

I say go for it Lee ... you at least earned a chance.

I don't know. How good is his clipboard holding?

Good for the guy. If he has any use in the NFL then we will know his potential was not reached at LSU and that would be on the staff.

Geez, will this ever go away....... We are 3 weeks away from a new season, coming off a 13-1 record and we are still arguing about Jefferson and Lee...

Congrats to Lee on a good performance. Hopefully the Chargers remain patient and Lee progresses well. Another tiger on an NFL roster is always a good thing.

I would say so, even against a 2nd or 3rd string NFL defense. He has talent and is capable. Now he just needs to improve on what he already has.
