Lee plays tonight when the Chargers (& Jacob Hester) host the Packers in San Diego

"QB Kevin O'Connell, who was signed eight days ago, consistently overthrew receivers. O'Connell is expected to play Thursday but will probably see limited reps. QB Jarrett Lee (undrafted, LSU) will have a heavy workload."

    ----------------------

Flynn plays Saturday when the Seahawks host the Titans (whose offense features FB Quinn Johnson, QB Jake Locker, RB Chris Johnson, etc)

Pete Carroll said that he already knows what he has with QB Tarvaris Jackson, so he wants to see what the two new guys look like: Flynn took reps with the 1st team this week and will play the 1st half, while rookie Russell Wilson took reps with the 2nd team and will play the 2nd half

    Flynn's receivers include:

    WR
    Sidney Rice (1x Pro Bowl)
Golden Tate (2nd Round pick, Notre Dame)
    Terrell Owens (6x Pro Bowl)
    Braylon Edwards (1x Pro Bowl)

    TE
    Zach Miller (1x Pro Bowl)
Kellen Winslow, Jr (1x Pro Bowl)

Pete Carroll said this about Flynn: "Matt has done a fantastic job so far. He’s learned the system, he’s on it, he can make all of the adjustments, all of the calls, he sees the defense really well. I love that he’s moving well in the pocket. All of the things we’re asking him to do, he’s fit that together so far, but now I need to see him in a situation where he takes over and see what that looks like."

Flynn said: "I’m excited I get the opportunity. This is kind of what I have been looking for and waiting for."

he also said this about Terrell Owens: "You hear all the stories; you hear everything. I’ve sat and talked to him a lot since he’s been here, and he seems like an extremely nice guy. It’s one of those things — the program that we’re running here, the attitude that the whole team has, I think it’s going to be a good situation for him and us."

Jarrett Lee killing it. Really looks good. Looking off safeties and making some serious throws. out pattern a laser, post pattern was right on the money, touchdown. couple of penalties killed 2 good passes from the stat book.

gruden and tirico made mention of Lee making a difference in the NC game against bama, possibly, id he had played.

clearly couldnt have done worse. looks to have a legit nfl arm at least and the accuracy is strangely there.

I hate to start up this conversation again, but after watching this performance I really want to know what kind of blackmail material Jefferson had on Miles...;)

Just saw the box score but didn't watch the game...did he still throw off his back foot?
    Jarrett Lee: 15/22 235 yards 1 TD 1 INT.
Dang impressive for a guy who wasn't expected to make a team

You could apply that 'insanity' quote to Jordan Jefferson's entire football career at LSU. We prob would have been in the Cap 1 bowl if he played the whole year, just sayin.

The Bama defense game-planned for Lee, not Jefferson. Did you happen to catch the BCSNG?

Anyways, enough of that. This is about Lee's great performance tonight. You can have your 1 TD and 7 INTs stats and keep regurgitating them but it doesn't take away from what Lee just did tonight in the NFL.

the word on Lee was he looked like garbage early, but came along enough to have a chance at being 3rd string for someone....do the Saints think he is good enough to be 3rd string for us?

Per ESPN he went 15/22 for 235 yards, 1 int and 1 TD........very respectable for his first game I think.
