Yeah, with a hefty signing bonus also. It would be fun to watch that unfold, but as bayareatiger said it just isn't going to happen.

Lets not forget that holdout. That was priceless. I'm going to hold you and your team hostage for an insane amount of money and then crap right in the middle of the field. Can't make this stuff up.

Raiders did the same thing to Flynn the Seahawks did

Seahawks bring in Flynn to compete with T. Jackson, then added R. Wilson to the mix in the draft

Raiders just drafted Tyler Wilson, adding him to the Flynn v Terrelle Pryor competition

The difference is - I don't think either one of them will start over Flynn right away, like Wilson did. I know Pryor is not a rookie, but surely Flynn is a better option than him.

    Per NFL.com:

    Raiders GM "McKenzie has now
    acknowledged to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport
that Flynn is going into the offseason as the
    "presumed starter."
    The organization reportedly remains skeptical
that Terrelle Pryor is ready to push for the
    starting role.
Although fourth-rounder Tyler Wilson is an
intriguing prospect for a team without a
proven starter, McKenzie concedes that the
rookie will start out " at the bottom until he
can maneuver his way up by his play ."
It sounds like Flynn will garner the majority
of the reps throughout the offseason and
into training camp. He's the heavy favorite to
start the season opener. If Flynn stumbles as
he did last summer, though, it won't be a
shock to see Wilson under center against the
Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 ."

That would suck to lose your job to a 'Wilson' 2 years in a row.

Kid just needs to play. If he brings the goods then he will get the job. Hope he makes it.

I think Flynn can be a good NFL QB in the right system and with good WRs. Not sure that Jacoby Ford and Denarious Moore are good enough WRs to bring out the best in Flynn. Hopefully they will upgrade the WR position somehow between now and the season. Maybe they should move Pryor to WR.

Id like to see some true competition between these two. See both get a couple starts to see who is truly the best. I dont think running someone just in training camp is going to be a true test of their skill. Give them the chances and see who is best. Only way to kill debates like this
