Has a free agent QB ever made more money for himself in one game?? Unbelievable day for MF.

Flynn did great. Very proud of his efforts.

Maybe the Deadskins will try to trade for him.

Do you think we could get some blackpaint and get him in the Bamasux game next Monday night?????

Happy New Year to All and Geaux Tigers!

If I had to bet, I'd say look for Matt in Kansas City next year for several reasons.

    1. Overall they have playoff-caliber personnel, especially in the weak AFC West once they settle on a head coach.

    2. They know Kyle Orton isn't the answer.

    3. Scott Paoli has shown an affintiy for LSU/SEC talent both from his time with the Pats and now in KC. They currently have 4 former Tigers on the roster and 16 SEC players altogether. These aren't just "roster fillers" either they are the heart and soul of that team.

Matty sets a franchise record and his thoughts?

"Just think of all of the great quarterbacks that have come through here," Flynn said. "It's very humbling. I just thank everybody around me and everything. I couldn't have done it, obviously, by myself. There's weapons all around me, and the line did a great job.

This sums it all up. Humility, talent and smart. He needs to be back in Texas, specifically in Houston. Shaub is too fragile, Leinart is too fragile, Yates just can't cut it, Delhome and Garcia are too old. Maybe Kubiak can suit up.

I would love to see him in Houston. Hopefuly we would see him on TV more often than playing for another franchise. Plus I'm a life long Houston sports fan. I've went to the Dome many times to watch the Astros. I've only been to Minute Maid a couple of times though. Flynn would be a great addition in Houston. Texans better break out the cash to get him. It will be a bidding war with the other teams in the league that need a QB.

I'd be an instant Chiefs fan!
I do like the Chiefs already but have rooted for the Broncos.
When it comes to the NFL I don't really have a team that I am totally loyal to anymore anyway. I have seemed to root for teams based on Players such as former LSU players, David Woodley, Aj Duhe.
Also NFL favorites of Marino, Duper, Clayton, Elway, Terrell Davis, etc.

Seattle isn't going anywhere. Someone correct me if I am wrong here but Pete Carroll lost his job in the NFL before and went to college for a reason. I couldn't believe he was rehired for a NFL Job. He seems like the Nick Saban type to me Can't be successful or make it at that level.

We watched some of this game in the French Quarter, whole place was going crazy cheering for him.......then they would boo anytime the announcer's talked about the potential matchup with the Saints in the playoffs....good times.
