OUTSTANDING day by Flynn! He sets the Green Bay franchise record for passing yards in a single game AND most passing TD's in a single game! :thumb:

Looking at the teams that have a need for a QB or in need of an upgrade (in no particular order):

Miami -- decent collection of players but woefully underperformed. They have potetially one of the best WR's in Brandon Marshall (but he's a basketcase at times) but lack a great running game to keep defenses honest.

Minnesota -- can't figure them out. From NFC title game participants to bottom feeders in such a short period of time. Peterson takes the pressure off any QB to HAVE to carry the entire team even with their "average to above average" group of WR's.

Arizona -- Lots of offensive potential to surround the QB with here. I wouldn't mind seeing Flynn reunited with Early Doucet either.

Tennessee -- Possible playoff team (at least for this very moment). Aging starting QB. Great RB (though he struggled this season). Not a true "downfield passing offense"; more comfortable being content feeding off the running game.

Seattle -- Don't think their QB is the longterm answer so they might verywell look to upgrade. However, I HATE Pete Carroll and I'd HATE to see him succeed and reap the rewards if Flynn succeeds....

Overall, I'd like to see Flynn go to Arizona.

Matt's ready. I thought so after his performance vs. NE last year and today just cements that. If I were a GM for the Dolphins, Chiefs, Broncos, Rams, Vikings, Seahawks etc.. I would pick this guy up as soon as the season is over. I not only believe he will be a starting QB for an NFL team, but I believe he can lead a team to the playoffs and maybe further.

The Rams management has already stated that they are NOT giving up on Sam Bradford.

IMO, Flynn won't go to a team that he's not being brought in to be the #1 and at St.Louis, they already have a QB that's making 1st-pick money. They won't pay 2 players "starters money" and have one on the bench.

I also don't think Denver's front office wants to get into another huge QB debate that splits the fanbase.

If the Rams want to go down with that ship, so be it. The guy has serious durability problems and really hasn't shown me much of anything while healthy.

Defenses have figured out Tebow, nobody's getting fooled by that option package they run anymore. The same fans that ran Orton out of town may have to swallow their pride again if Tebow continues to perform like he did today.

There are plenty of teams with a want for a good QB. Flynn should make some serious bank in free agency.

Not after his 6 for 22 passing for 60 yards, while playing at home, with the playoffs on the line!

Flynn made some money today! Congrats to him.

FYI Denver loses and gets in by default because the Raiders lose too. Bunch of losers.

I partly disagree with your statement.
First of all if the fans ran the team here in Denver, Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Peyton Hillis would still be here. Second of all Kyle Orton was in the last year of his contract and would have played every game had he played better and not shown signs of declining during the beginning of the season. He wasn't going to be resigned. You have a first year coach and a GM in John Elway that came in this year and a First round QB that was drafted by the former regime. Once it became clear that the Broncos weren't going anywhere they traded their best WR to the Rams I believe and got basically nothing in return. They then were in a position to see what they had in TT at QB because he is the only one on their roster at that position next year.
Quite frankly the Broncos are such a mess, unless TT turns into Steve Young or they go after someone like Flynn or bring in more competition I have no interest in watching them for a while. This whole organization is a disaster after some very bad decisions were made the last 3 years or so.

If I was the Colts, I'd TRADE the #1 overall pick for Matt Flynn and a 2nd and 3rd round pick, and a second round pick next year. Then I'd have an EXPERIENCED and PROVEN QB for when Manning is done, AND I'd have some MUCH NEEDED depth with the other picks I have.

Flynn could well wind up the starter next year, or he might have to wait two more seasons. But at GB, Rodgers is nowhere near the end of his career.

As for the Packers, they could use that #1 pick to draft a running back, which they need, or maybe trade the pick for some lower first round pick and a pick next season, then get an OL or two.

Green Bay can't trade Flynn unless they sign him and that won't happen. Flynn will be expected too be starter with whatever team signs him. I'm not sure when the free agent signings can start but I'd expect that Matt will be signed pretty early and I would not be surprised of out is one of the teams with an early pick.

very small sample and im not sure id risk it unless i was very very desperate. you could end up like the bills signing fitz for like 60 mill prematurely.

then again, lots of coaches need to save their jobs and it starts at qb.
