But, that is exactly what you are saying. You are saying that because he did bad stuff 18 years ago, he is still doing the same bad stiff today and with absolutely no evidence that that is the case. A lot of people do bad stuff at some point in their life. Some continue doing the same bad stuff until the day they die. But, there are a lot of people who decide they don't ant to do that bad stuff anymore and literally and figuratively clean up their act. But, people like you, for whatever the reason, are evidently unwilling to believe that people can and do change and to accept them for the person they have become and not the person they were.

Look, it it were just one year, or maybe two, I would have a healthy degree of "wait and see." But, after 18 years, I believe the change is real, until someone presents hard, solid evidence that that is not the case. I'm not expecting an answer, but how many of us did stuff when we were in our twenties, and in some instances our thirties, that we would like to have thrown in our faces today?
