Everyone knows that the Pac-12 and the Big 12 are finesse offense leagues. Sure they can put up alot of points on each other, but when the play the cream of the crop in the SEC they will fail, and fail miserably. I know USC of all the Pac-12 teams has a bunch of athletes, but what they don't have is depth with experience. I'm still very eager to someday meet up with USC, Barkley doesn't frighten me whatsoever. He isn't mobile, and again Lane Kiffin. It's not that I hate the little prick, I really don't give a flying f about him at all, still doesn't take away the fact that he isn't a very good head coach.

No, they really aren't better QB's. Compared to those two, Barkley leads in all categories including QB rating with a 161.22, Wilson at 148.66, and Murray at 146.42. You'd have had a better argument with Geno Smith. WVa put up 463 yards passing on LSU.

Context. It's your friend. My point about Oregon and ucla, in that post, was about Kiffin as HC and the overall results in a season with no post season for players to look forward to. However, in another context, we beat Oregon AT Oregon, late in the season. LSU did not. As for ucla, any time you beat your most hated rival by 50 points and earn a shutout it's a noteworthy point.

I wear one. I am not one.

    Solid internet smack. +1

Did you happen to see that I mentioned LK isn't the only one on the sideline? Monte is a cover 2 wizard. Who wouldn't want that experience? Orgeron is not much of a HC, but he knows D. Monte was coaching players like they were NFL seasoned and they weren't. Orgeron speaks yaw yaw. Lane is a great translator.

What did Lane do at UT exactly? They went from 5-7 to 7-6 and increased their offensive output by 60% over the previous year. Why do you think Vol fans took to burning couches and making death threats when he left? Lane made a lot of mistakes in that year but a 10-2 record and a return to a top 10 ranking coming off the 2nd year of a 2 year bowl ban doesn't equate to running things into the ground IMO.

Sorry, but USC should never be in the NC conversation so long as Kiffen is roaming the sidelines. He's a pompous little prick who has never accomplished anything in his coaching career. I'm sure the smidgeon of success he had this year coupled with the hype and expectations heading into next year will go to his head. Maybe then SC fans will realize that Petey has flown the coup.

C'mon, get real. That's like saying Bama shouldn't as long as Saban is roaming the sidelines. Let's get this on level eh?

And no, you're not sure his success this year will go to his head. In fact, you have no idea what affect it will have.

Uh, they (Oregon/PAC10) put up a lot on us too...the most given up this year.

Same program (not same team) that held an Auburn offense to a measly 22 points last year against an offense that average 40 points vs. SEC defenses. Not bad for a "no defense conference".

And? We held them to under half of their season average. Auburn's crappy defense last year held them to under 20. It is a no defense conference and you are kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Either that or you are trying real hard to get into uscvball's pants. :D

Did you really just compare Kiffen to Saban? No, it's nothing like saying that. Nothing at all.

So I'm not allowed to make reasonable predictions about the future based on past events or displays of poor character? Ok, then you should refrain from making predictions of any sort because you don't know the future either, Mr. USC Sympathizer Extraordinaire.

It wasn't presented as a prediction, but as a statement of fact. To say that Kiffin has accomplished nothing in his coaching career or deeming this season as a smidgeon of success is not accurate. Folks learn from their mistakes and perhaps that includes Kiffin.

The SEC is a defense oriented conference for the most part and the Pac is an offense oriented conference. It doesn't mean one or the other isn't capable of getting the job done with what they have. I found LSU/Bama round 1 to be boring as hell but I'm sure it was a great game for most SEC fans. Likewise, SEC fans might not enjoy a TD shootout like USC/Oregon.

You present your predictions or prognostications as fiction?

Sure, it is. He's had one decent season amidst a (brief) career of being very average.

Perhaps, but I don't think that it does.
