I don't think he would be considered a 1st round pick in any circumstance.

No not at all.....personally I think teams will start thinking about him in the 4th round, but more than likely lots of teams would take him in the 5th.

Drafting him is a bad idea and I hope the Saints don't make that mistake. How anybody thinks he will do anything other than what he has done in the past conduct wise simply baffles me.

Maya Angelou had wise words about this sort of situation. “The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them.” Has there been anything in his recent history (except for the tearful and not very convincing interview about how he's changed) for us to believe that he's not who we know him to be? Is there anyone that can make a credible case that when he has tons of money and greater freedom with the same group of sycophant henchmen and family hangers-on around him that his decision making and judgement will be better and not worse? This is a silly discussion. Maybe he has changed. But there's no evidence of that other than his says so. I'll bet after his first failed drug test at LSU he apologized to his coaches and promised to shape up. And then I'll wager he did the same thing after the second time. And then... you get he picture.

I have a saying too. "People can change - but they usually don't."

How about the fact that he left Baton Rouge and went to live with PP7's family and started to work on his game there. He went to get mentored by Peterson who has never had issues with character at all.

Not sure why you are so down on him, but he's shown he cares about his future, here is to hoping he gets to make something of it.

I wouldn't mind if the Saints gave him a shot. However, I wouldn't give up a third rounder for him. Maybe if he drops to the fourth round and there are no other higher rated "must haves" that have unexpectedly dropped on the Saints draft board?

If I was a GM and looking at TM, I would want to know if he's still associating with Jordan Jefferson. If so, I wouldn't consider him. If he has broken ties with losers like JJ he may actually be turning his life around.

People keep talking about his 'conduct'. Isn't the only thing he's been in trouble for was smoking weed? If so, I'm not sure that he has demonstrated bad conduct. I think he's just made a couple of really stupid decisions.

It took the 4 Bama players getting arrested for almost beating the life out of a kid, taking his wallet and running up his credit cards for me to realize that TM7 isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be.
