what are the odds he gets suspended for the entire season.
with the Sean Taylor tragedy, I think it would be more leeway for players to protect themselves, if thats what he was doing.

if the only connection to the shooting is that it was his gun i doubt he will be suspended.

I read an article that said it was registered to him, so it sounds like it's legally owned.

and while it sounds crazy to have a .50 cal around the house, it seems as if he is a pretty big gun collector.

the story i sold him is already working:

Police: 'Harrison not suspect at this point'

Bullets found at the scene of a shooting in Philadelphia last Tuesday came from a handgun owned by Indianapolis Colts receiver Marvin Harrison, according to reports on ESPN and the Philadelphia Daily News, both citing unnamed police sources. But Philadelphia police are not calling Harrison a suspect.

"He's not a suspect at this point," police spokesperson Tanya Little told The Star this morning, declining further comment.

Police questioned Harrison and several other people last week about an incident near a car detail shop Harrison owns in the North Philadelphia neighborhood where he grew up. A man was shot in the hand and a 2-year-old boy sustained a cut under his eye after a bullet shattered a car windshield.

Police have not released an incident report, saying the investigation is ongoing.

Harrison's attorney, Jerome Brown, and his agent, Tom Condon, have not returned repeated phone calls from The Star. But Condon told ESPN last week that he had spoken to Harrison and Brown, and that Harrison "was not involved in any shooting" and "is not the subject of this investigation."

The Colts have made no public statement since last week, when president Bill Polian said the team didn't know anything about the incident and wouldn't comment until "credible information" came to light.

Harrison, 35, was issued a Personal Protection Permit in Indiana on Feb. 21, 2006, according to the Firearms Licensing Section of the Indiana State Police. The permit allows him to carry a gun on his person or in his vehicle. It expires in 2010.
