Wow, what a horrible game day coach.

First, early on in the game he has the ball at the 30 with a 4th and 11 and doesn't kick a FG and fails on 4th down (and he has the AFC Pro-Bowl Nate Kaeding on his team).

Secondly, he challenges a call that is nowhere close to being worth challenging in the 4th quarter. Now his team needs that time out back with the game on the line.

Marty Ball is alive and well.

horrible enough to have an incredible record with a first year QB.

I do agree that the challenege was awful.

Brady will be made a god after this game after looking horrible.

Wow, 8 seconds to go and you don't throw a 5 to 7 yard out.

    Incredible.

Anybody else notice the ball wasn't in LT's hands enough times in the 2nd half?

I guess they thought their pro bowl wide receivers were more of a weapon than LT.

    Good grief.

LT was pretty pissed about it, that's for sure.

Wasn't even a good enough sport to shake hands and share daps on the field afterwards. I don't blame him, he's got the absolute worst post season coach in the history of the NFL that managed to phuck this great thing up.

Wait, Schyttenheimer and Mora Sr. are tied for that distinction.

I hope the San Diego training staff is proficient in the Heimlich manuver.

Nice to see Kevin Faulk get the 2 pointer on a brilliant call. :thumb:

Well, the 2 teams I thought had a solid chance at beating the Saints are out of the playoffs (Ravens/Chargers).

    1. New Orleans
    2. New England
    3. Indianapolis
    4. Chicago

New Orleans vs. New England in the big game. The 2 best coaching minds in the NFL match wits. Should be fun.

I know it makes no sense to fire a coach that led you to a 14-2 record, but this case is the exception.

If San Diego wants to win playoff games, you must fire the coach. He's full of Schytt.

Damn islstl, you stole my thunder. I was out to eat and was gonna post this exact thread when I got home. Marty Chittenheimerdink strikes again. The 3rd time he has had the no. 1 seed in the AFC and lose in the first game. WOW! I have always thought he is a joke, and how could any franchise want him as a coach. All he does is get your hopes up and then crushes them with a bulldozer. He makes Jim Mora look like Vince Lombardi. He will be fired this week if San Diego's GM has any brains at all.
