Sweet! A need position, and coaches were at the WM/Ruston game the other night to scout him. Word from some is that he dominated Lazarius Levingston that night, either way..welcome to LSU!

Is he under the radar or something?

Good size, needs to add a lot of strength though, looks like a project. Figured he'd get offered down the road at the end if we needed another OL, but didn't think he'd get one this early.

No need to **** on this guy's celebration. Linemen are the hardest of all positions to scout, stars mean nothing. He played TE last year, and had an ACL injury. THis year, Katrina screwed his team up and he's been playing at WM as OT this year. He's been doing good, supposedly dominated LL Friday.

I was just curious as to why his rating was so low...

I knew we wouldn't recruit him if he wasn't a good player....

ACL tear will knock you down the charts... same with a position move... this guy looks like more of a project... 6'7" 270... needs to add about 30 pounds... that or is he a project for another position? big tightend? DE?

Is it just me, or is Miles getting a few players that were underrated because of ACL injuries? It seems like this is the 3rd or so player that has the potential to be great, but has been limited due to injuries.

This is Miles' second 2-star commit. Obviously this coaching staff is seeing something that others are not. Only way to know whether they are right is to wait & see. Plenty of 2star players develop into great athletes - let's just hope Miles & co are picking out the right ones.

This is not really true, during Saban's tenure, he had numerous 2 stars in every class but 1. Anxiety over a new coach and his abilities is normal though.

The other 2-star, J.D. Lott, is a 2-star DE, but is being recruited as a TE... Scarborough seems to think that when he is re-rated at TE he will move up to a 3 or 4 star...

if i remember correctly, wasn't Andrew Whitworth about the same size when he came out of high school? I am not trying to compare the two, but i think they were the same size and they both played Tight end right?
