Good point and I think this is the reason for the red zone time outs and wired play calls. There is a real trust issue and I understand why. It will come with confidence and grinding this win out against a VERY good D will only help Mett....
Yeah even last week we rolled out the punter with 2 mins left then burned a timeout. Clearly you cant punt there. Les' indecisiveness translates all over the offense when we get close. That's a big hurdle and a common theme of his teams he needs to fix ASAP.
Well at the first of the year Mett had 2 ints on the goal line plus a few fumbles. I think those things plus the WR drops, RB fumbles just added to not trusting what we can do....
Right. But you can't play scared if you are building a nc team. That same attitude he has toward running the ball you do with passing. Do it til you get the shit right. One complements the other. Mett is green. He needs work. It's not magic.
Its a close call when the game is on the line. We definitely tried to pass in the end zone, but Mett screwed that up twice.I hope he gets better.... We should have the option to pass at will on A%M, but we will also have the ability to just run them out of the stadium if we keep up this running performance......
Funny you say that cause I found it peculiar to see the fashion in which he SPRINTED off the field at half. I thought he's either thinking, "Hurry up and come tell me what I need to do" or "Get me the phuck out of this Roman Coliseum."

Right but we have to lose the mentality we tried to actaully throw in the ez once or twice and that's the one chance he gets. That mentality is why we never get better. It's a tired mentality that shows in the team. You may need mett to win the game at fag field. They score points.
