Re: Mark May You should check osu's schedule OOC history (excluded 2007-I will give that) texas home/away usc home/away, ect,ect and the overall record of the big 10 vs SEC....do your research before making stupid repetitive statements.
Re: Mark May So we can assume that Texas and USC are the only out of conference teams you can come up with. How many top 10 BCS finishing teams did you play this year??
I know the SEC owns OSU in bowl games but in 1988 OSU beat LSU and tied in 1987. Just a little bit of facts about LSU's history with OSU! BTW, I read this on tigerdroppings.com so I looked it up on college football database warehouse.
Re: Mark May Hey Homer..R E A D the post "excluding this year" osu's OOC schedule is one of the best.,,,,and the SEC does not OWN the Big 10 in bowl games soooooooooooo do not assume anything...especially CF facts or a LSU win against osu. JT is 0-1 against SEC, against LSU head to head 1-0-1 BUT LSU's ooc was not that great either !! M.TENN 5-7,Tulane 4-8, LA Tech (5-7)
Re: Mark May OSU is 7-10-2 vs SEC opponents dating back to 1895! Most of OSU wins vs SEC was back in the early 1900's to Ken, Vandy,( both schools combined 1-6 vs OSU in the early 1900's) and a tie 0-0 in 1917 with Auburn. All of their loses has been to modern day SEC teams since '78 which mostly have been bowl games. OSU's last reg season win vs SEC was against LSU in 1988 in Columbus with a 36-33 victory and a tie in 87. In other words, OSU doesn't schedule SEC opponents in the regular season but own a winning record vs SEC in the reg season and get beat in bowl games by SEC teams when it matters most:wink: . But another fact to throw around, the underdog since 2001 is 4-2 in the NCG. Alot of BS info but something to chew on and it doesn't mean anything for this upcoming game. But from the look of things, OSU hates playing football in the South.
Re: Mark May NICE TRY...BUT still not that impressive in addition to the 2 losses. We will settle this on the field.
Here it is in a nutshell... Wisearse says we're evenly matched with tOSU talent wise, and Sweater Vest is a better coach than :milesmic: , so let the game play out...and let's see what he has to say after the game. Based on his assessment that talent is even, if LSU wins...I can only assume Sweater Vest was outcoached.:thumb:
