Where are you guys at? Where's May's undying love for LSU? Last night he said OU should play for the NC, not LSU. His argument for OU was that when they lost to TT, their starting QB got injured in the first quarter. But there was no mention of the Colorado loss. HELLO.....MARK MAY....IS ANYONE HOME?????? LSU just won the SECCG with IT'S BACKUP QB. Yet again, Mark May has proven me right that he is one of the Many idiots on ESPN.
The man has been on LSU's jock for the past couple years. Cut the man some slack. I swear if anybody doesn't say LSU is the greatest team to ever play the game people get upset about it and call bias.
I think ESPN instructed him to pitch for OU, since he was advocating LSU about a half hour earlier. Funny how things changed between SportsCenter and the CFB show.
I noticed that and thought it was weird. It's like he flip-flopped or something. And I've always thought Mark May was one of the more objective analysts out there.
I have no doubt that he was instructed to back OU. There's no other way to explain the flip/flop from earlier. No big deal....I still like Mark.
Yeah, isn't getting on my dodo list with that pick. He has done us a great service this year, many times he has said we have the most talented team in the nation. I think OU is a pretty damn good team too.
I don't think it is bias so much as it is faulty analysis. Mark got caught with his pants down on the QB comment as well as the "last loss" comment, which really had little significance when analyzing OU's and LSU's chances.
