I heard that today too. It's going to end up costing UConn about 3 times as much money to play in the BCS as they will end up making off of it, because not only are they on the hook for the tickets, they are on the hook for all of the lodging, except at 1 hotel, in which they are on the hook for half. Then you have to consider, flights, food, for not only players, but families, the band, coaches, and university personnel.
I like the AQ for the BCS system, but not for a playoff. AQ keeps the money folks happy. Choose a playoff based on merit, but make sure you throw the money folks a bone or any playoff proposal will crash and burn.
