I personally have no problem with the BCS, it's been good to LSU. But the idea of a playoff hmm could be interesting...
I know that there's probably people who will bash Cuban. I still think he's one of the best owners because he's so passionate about his teams. If he wasn't an owner of a team, he would literally fit in with all of the rowdy fans in the nosebleeds and be there every game for whatever team he was a fan of.
If u make the bowl games the playoff games then you have the best of both. You still have the bowls which would be even more important because the winner moves on.
Your larger non bcs bowls would act as 1st round playoff game and the bcs bowls could be the next round. Top 8 in rankings play. 3 rounds - from 8 to 4 to2. Playoffs and bowls everyone happy except the no 9 team left out
I hate Cuban, he is an arrogant pr...ick. However if he gets a playoff and kills the BCS I will become one of his biggest fans.
It can't be any worse. If LSU loses it's opening game next season they are virtually out of the NC picture. It would be tough to climb to the 1 or 2 ranking because all of the Boises, Utahs and TCUs of the world will get the human poll love despite their minor league schedules. With Cuban's playoff, we would only have to climb to #16.
Are you kidding me??? While I would love to see a playoff system.......What the hell does Mark Cuban have to do with college football or the BCS???? Just because he has a sh*tload of money does it entitle him to stick his nose where it doesn't belong??
