Take it for what it's worth, but word I'm getting late last night and this morning is he's more solid to Bama today than he was last week.
I don't see how you simplified anything. According to this theory, LSU should be able to steal basically any recruit we want from Bama. Well, that obviously isn't the case (although we have been able to keep all of the Louisiana recruits - taking them out of Alabama has proven difficult). Also, no matter how we LSU fans see it, Saban is selling recruits on winning championships at Bama, and they are buying into it.
When is that *joke* going to get old to you guys? And, going with a post earlier in this thread about word I was getting last night, his high school coach has said this morning he's solid to Bama, tired of the recruiting services calling, and he's just worn out by it all.
Football season doesn't start again for seven months. I'm sure you'll be seeing this one all summer. :hihi: It could be worse. At least Saban didn't buy a hooker with his University of Alabama credit card.
If anyone has followed recruiting for any length of time has read the millions of quotes from recruits they would know that "early playing time" is mentioned far more than anything else. That may not be what ultimately guides their final decision but its what most of them say more than anything. The titles and championship stuff is gravy. They all want to play early, often and get to the NFL.
Well then, we should expect him to announce his intentions sometime soon, no? If he's so worn out by it all, I would expect him to commit to Bama today or tomorrow.
he speaks as if LSU called Barron....i think it is pretty widely known Barron was calling multiple times daily as we were preparing for the NCG. if he is so tired of the process....STAY OFF THE PHONE!!
I think it is pretty well known that Barron wasn't the one that had the idea to call LSU. He was interested early in the process though.
