One of the reasons I said it was shady is this...he's Phelon's dad and transporting a recruit to his official visit. There isn't anything that can be made of it because he can always say "I coached them in middle school." But, it has cast a shadow over him in the lower Alabama area. A lot of the shadiness that has come up on message boards in the last few days isnt the main concern. Obviously, most of the people that arent from the area wouldn't understand.

Have you ever test driven a car you did not think you'd like, only to find it really was pretty good, so good that in fact you ended up buying it? Doesn't happen often, but it does happen. The only way it would happen is if you actually got in the car and drove it.
If it doesn't need to be on message boards then posters shouldn't drop hints and innuendo. Either come out and say it or just leave it alone completely.
Anyways, back to Mark Barron. I just spoke with someone close to him. That person said that the visit went very well. That person also said that he'd be lying if he told me that he knew what Mark's decision was going to be. Don't count this guy out. LSU could end up with him by the time it's all said and done.
I understand where you are coming from here...but, it was a response to a specific individual, not the group as a whole. And, CP has a good suggestion...please just edit the thread.
