I had a similar experience with everclear. I have never been able to drink that or hawaiian punch since, and that was 20 years ago.

My dad thinks the same as sabanfan does. To his defence, older people have lived long enough to have seen people that they know , and some that they may love, fail in life because of drug abuse. Some people can seperate one drug from another and some can't. Pot is an illegal drug. Some people have lost their freedom, their families and in some cases their lives because of drugs and even pot. There will always be those that see all drugs as evil, as my dad does. They see drugs as evil because they have had an experience in their life that supports that belief. To be honest, it would probably be better if no person used drugs or alcohol. That isn't human nature though. Mankind has always used something to escape reality or expand the human experience. I see pot more like beer than cocaine. Some people will never see pot as I do. It's not right to say people that don't believe in the legalization of pot are wrong. There is no way to know what the results will be in America if it were legal. We have an idea from what we see other countries have done, but still no real way to know for sure. I believe pot would be better than some other meds for people that are sick. Unfortunately some don't see it that way. Those that are so aginst drugs have probably seen the negative effects first had and will never think the positive side of pot use will trump what negative things they have experienced.

yeah, that's what I figured but I could see Lasalle drinking everclear in his mid 20's. He seems to indulge every once in a while.
