The Claude Wroten thread got me thinking... What are your thoughts on marijuana? Should it be legal? Why should it be illegal while alcohol & cigarettes are legal? What is your opinion of people who smoke marijuana? Thoughts? Discuss.
The government can't control it and receive the taxes from it so it will never be legal. Even if it was, you can go out and get falling down drunk all weekend and pass company and DOT urine test but burn one Friday night and you are looking for another job.
But if it was made legal, presumably companies wouldn't drug test for it anymore. People would have said the same thing about alcohol & tobacco back before the government controlled them. When there's money to be made... The government could control it if it wanted.
I don't believe marijuana is any more dangerous than cigs and alcohol. I don't think it'll ever be legalized, but it wouldn't bother me if it was. Gave up smoking pot many years ago, but still have friends who do. The only thing that worries me about being around them when they light up is getting busted. A couple of them really don't care where they light up.
All drugs should be legal. People should be able to put whatever they are stupid enough to in their bodies. I think drug users are stupid dirty hippies. Whether it be weed, smack or coke I want nothing to do with any of them.

I did no such thing. Alcohol is not for hippies. It is a drink. And it might spill on you and get you wet. A hippy wouldn't take that chance because if you get wet you might get clean.
I think anyone who has anything to lose, who drives around in a car with pot in the vehicle and in their shoes, is a retard and deserves whatever penalty they get.
