Your right, if only he could defend. Best shooter on the team with his height. Now we need the trainers to bulk up Rolle and Johnson if they want to make it in the SEC. They both need a good 50 pounds.
We don't need Rolle at 270. Rolle would be just fine in the 225-230 range so an extra 10-15 lbs is all he needs. As for Johnson, I think its a lost cause expecting him to be able to put on weight. His metabolism is just too high. The limit with him is going to be around 200-205. Which, while not great, is better than the 181 or whatever he weighed this year. We just need our front court to learn how to box out.
Good post, I was just implying they look like sticks out there. I often worry that they might take a shot to the body and crumple. Your right they need those extra pounds, it seems that all players with those builds are a little uncoordinated. For example, Tyrus out of high school was the same and schools didnt want to take the chance on him. A great year in the weight room should help there games in every aspect.
I'm thinking Voogd and Farrer. Voogd because there were some rumors going around about him moving back closer to the west coast. Farrer because.... Farrer. Someone who sat next to Chris's girlfriend at the last game of the year said she said he said he's not even considering leaving.
For the people who seemed to be obsessed with Basketball players weight, does anyone remeber Nikita Wilson? He was a 6' 8" Forward & 200 lbs - maybe. Averaged 15.6 per game, 7 Rebounds & was the 7th pick in 2nd round of the NBA draft, back when there were a lot more rounds. He was instrumental in taking LSU to the Elite Eight in '87, along with Juco guard Darryl Joe. One Keith Smart shot away from returning to the Final 4. Well, one is definitely Voogd. It's been hard to not hear the rumors he wants back on the west coast.
I wonder if the Pac 10's strong showing this year has anything to do with that- assuming that's true.
