LSU, Ohio State, Illinois and Miami are his top 4 and are declared to be all even. His 5th official will either be Michigan, NC State or Bama.
Officially down to just LSU, Miami, Illinois and Ohio State. Will make the announcement shortly after the US-Army All American game.
I seriously doubt he's that big of an Ohio State fan if he even had Michigan listed as a contender. A kid who is a true LSU fan would never list Bama, regardless of what Saban had to say. And I would say there's more deep seeded hatred between O-State-Michigan than LSU-Bama.
You would think that to be true but in reality OSU and UM fight over many kids from each state who have loyalties to one school or the other. UM has many kids who were fans of OSU prior to their signing and vice versa. I have conversations about this with my father-in-law who is a huge Buckeye fan and the stories of split families are entertaining. Many of the kids make there decisions on where they would fit best and get playing time early at their respective positions.
Tennessee gets his 5th official visit. "I really want to see LSU before it is all over, so I am going to get down there," said Hall, who is the country’s ninth ranked player overall in the Scout 300. "I asked coach Stud if I could come down there on Jan. 8, but he didn't want me to. He wants me down when everyone is back in school so that I can get a feel for campus life." "So, I am going to wait and take the visit later in the month," he added. "Coach Stud knows that I will even switch my other visit dates around to get down there, so it is no problem on that end. I am going to call him after Christmas and let him set me up. He definitely has me pumped to see what LSU is all about."
