How do you suppose Peetz was handled? Did he even stick around to talk to Kelly? My guess is Austin Thomas probably told him Saturday after game 'If you need any more boxes to load up your gear feel free to let me know.'

I'm betting Kelley will be able to attract more established OC/DC than O. Its about the professionalism and confidence that he knows what is needed.

I agree, but I kind of want to keep Daronte Jones.

I would be very happy to keep Daronte. I'm confident Faulk and Raymond will be staying (if they want to). Kelly knows good recruiters when he sees them.

I think Keeping Faulk is very smart. He is a known HOF commodity in Louisiana and with his professional career, I assume recruits and parents and coaches would listen more than just another assistant coach coming in to recruit. I feel the same way about Raymond too.

When it comes to assistant coaches I think its all about the head guy. Most of the guys that flopped here under Les and O did well with other HC. Look at Stud, he couldn't field a descent O line but is killing it at Ohio St. I think it has a lot to do with how much the head coach guides you in the right direction or completely micro-manages the position. I think Kelly is professional enough to let them work, give them direction, and let them go when its not working. I always felt Les held on too long before making a change.

Agree, and Orgeron had the exact opposite problem, being to knee jerk reactive.

Well, when he did make a change it was already too late. And as @MobileBengal said O made them too much. I think Kelly can run a program a little better.
