Lets examine George Bush 2004 campaign, for a republican this was the best coalition ever to win a national race. Trump is far far far from that, likability means a lot to the mass, I pay attention to that more than any win or lose poll. Bush had 11 of the black vote, 44 percent of Hispanic vote and 43 percent of Asians. Trump wont come close to any of that and thats what you need to win an election as a republican in this century.
Just winning the white vote decisively will not cut it.
