March Madness...LSU #8 Seed in South Region

CTJ, in his first year, took a frustrated program lacking depth and a competent post player to the SEC championship and the NCAA tourney.

Although 2010 is going to be frustrating unless some kind of JUCO recruiting miracle happens post haste, I could not be more stoked about the future of LSU basketball.

Honestly - even a hard-fought loss at this point will make me happy in the tourney. Nothing but a blow out loss to Butler will tarnish this season IMO.

 

i wish it was something more than just that the "e" and "d" are adjacent keys.

Game 1 under our belt. A very impressive win. Now onto UNC, who by all accounts is heavily favored to beat us. I don't care though, because I am just excited that we made it out of round 1. At this point anything can happen. I couldn't be happier with the play of this team, and the season they have had.

We get past UNC and the road to the Final Four will be within our grasp. We don't, and get sent home, no matter, the road to future great seasons is already paved. GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!

 

Could be the first upset in the making...American over Nova by 7 with just over 13 minutes left.

That would be horrible for me since I picked Nova to get to the Final Four. Luckily, I just tuned in and Nova tied it with 7:30 left.

 

Yep...just as a spoke about it...Nova took control.

I left my bracket at work, but I think I may be perfect on the first day. I assumed the days of first-round major upsets are over and only picked as low as 11 seeds winning any games. I had TAMU and Michigan for sure, but I don't remember who I picked in the Maryland-Cal game.

I was perfect till Clemson lost...but Im cool with that cause I hate the ACC
