Just what I feared. Losing 3 of the last 4 hurt us. We needed to play today at least to make it to a 6. Anyway...the silver lining and I agree with Bobby Knight. While the top 4 and bottom 4 seeds are pretty much givens on who advances there, the rest from 5 to 12 are toss-ups. Butler has a good team but LSU fell to an 8th in 4 games. Looks to me if we play the way we are capable we end up a strong 8. All of the media knuckleheads only remember the last week. We know this team is good. :tigerhead GEAUX TIGERS!!! :bball:

We got hosed. Even if we get past butler (which will be difficult) it will take an epic miracle for us to beat UNC in NC.
How do you figure? Our biggest weakness is limiting strong post players. There aren't many stronger than Hansborough. While anything can happen and I'm hoping for the best, I have a tough time giving us anything better than a 20% chance to beat UNC.
I agree, I do not see how some feel Butler will be a more difficult than facing UNC in the 2nd round. That is nuts if you have watched UNC kill the post all year. UNC = Beast and I see them making it to at least the final 4.
If you are going to tank at the end of the year, do it right. Miss State did this and look at their future: Washington then Purdue (or UNI).
Clearly unranked Texas deserved a 7 seed after losing in the first round of the little 12 tourney to Baylor. What a sham!
