trump was supposed to win maine (and lose kansas). Hes getting it handed to him. He will likely dominate louisiana. Im not sure where that puts him.

bernie will likely win kansas and nebraska.

Cruz is the HUGE winner tonight.

I don't care that he loses the 2 bigger states in Louisiana and Kentucky (and Kentucky is still very much in play). Trump was projected to win by 20+ points in LA, and it appears it may end up less than 5 points over Cruz, and certainly under double digits.

He has outdone all the projections in each of the 3 states that had polling done. He also wins Maine on top of that.

    It's officially a 2 man race.

Now the question becomes, can he compete in states that aren't nearly as evangelical?

All of the Trump bashing in this past week has had it's effect and Cruz is the beneficiary.

Trump was at 47 % of the delegates before tonight, that's going to take a little hit.

Looks like he might be down to about 44-45 %.

50 % + 1 is needed to secure the nomination.

Trump the master of the backhanded compliment.

'I want to congratulate Ted Cruz on winning Maine and Kansas. He should do well in Maine, because it's very close to Canada. Let's face it.'
