Change of pace, LBs and DBs focusing on keeping Manziel boxed in leaves the middle of the field soft. Though with the veterans they lose up front I don't know how strong they'll be in the trenches next year.

When has that ever stopped our kickass offense from running that out of the shotgun?

 

We rarely run from the gun. We should see more of it tonight however.

You would hope so. That would require us to really change it up a bit. You know, do something that no one in the stadium is expecting us to do? I'm sure nick is figuring that he has seen this movie before. I'd love to see his face if we present a wrinkle.

I'm picturing Spencer Ware in the warecat around the 50 with Ford in the backfield. Bama bites on the option, Ware hits a wide open Clement across the middle for a TD.

 

That is real nice. Will never happen, but it is real nice to think about.

 

Would've been a nice play on that abomination of a 4th and 1 attempt.
