I just remember a lot of people saying if Vick only had some legit receivers he would be so much better.

    I even said it.

Obviously it had a lot to do with Vick's inability to get the ball to his receivers.

Maybe a light just came on for Roddy White this year, but I doubt it.

You don't just catch for 1400 yards after being labeled a bust.

thanks Mr. Collinsworth for echoing what he just said.

White's 1st 2 years with Vick might have been low-ball numbers because of Vick wanting to run or check down.

But the fact of the matter is that Vick did take them to the NFCCG. Matt Ryan won't get there.... not yet anyway.

now that I say that, I fully expect the g'damn Falcons to rally and win the Superbowl.

Vick was over-rated as a QB and his talents were due to his athleticism. The pansy QB rules that the NFL created helped Vick succeed. Had he been subjected to the same hits as a RB or WR, he would've had his block knocked off years ago.

Most teams were catching on to his routine and forcing him to do two things he wasn't good at. 1) throwing 2) thinking

When Vick gets out of jail, will he play QB, RB, slot receiver? It's not clear to me he will go back to QB.

For the Baton Rouge Blaze. :hihi:

But seriously, I wonder who would take a chance on him. Great athlete, horrible passer.
