i think he has that syndrome where mothers make their kids sick just to get sympathy. he's probably gay too.

 

This is such a weird story.

 

Bizarre, to say the least. Best case scenario for him is that he engaged in an online relationship with a girl he never met, which seems pretty pathetic for a high-profile football player. Worst case scenario is that he knowingly went along with the prank just to drum up sympathy and admiration for himself. There is no in-between; it's one or the other, and I don't think anyone believes it's the former. Supposedly, he had these long phone conversations with "her". So if there never was a "her", who was on the other end of the line, if there was one?

 

You know the Domers are going to spin this into the reason Te'o sucked in the title game. He needs to spend more time remembering to tackle good running backs than coming out of the closet. If you're gay just be gay. Jeez.
