    Dodgers are going to be in a bind without him.
    Juan Pierre is their 4th outfielder.
    Manny is about 69,788,578,917 x a better hitter than Pierre.

    Maybe by nailing (and actually suspending) a big time name like Manny will send a message. Might help curb the usage by guys still coming up and trying to make it.

    2 positives out of this for me....

    1) The Nationals are in L.A. and we could use a win

    2) It distracts ESPN from Brett Favre-Minnesota coverage for at least 3 minutes
