Up 20+ points with a minute to play, they score (on a pass play) then got for 2... and get it.

Bush-league from a guy who hasn't done a damn thing in his career.

There's no such thing as running up the score in the NFL. I would agree if they were 2 college teams, but it's different for the pros.

It actually makes sense to run up the score in college where 'style points' count for something. In the NFL running up the score just means your a douche bag, but we should expect nothing less from a disciple of the hoodie.

btw how the hell was there no flag for the hit on Anquan Boldin in this game?

because the referee is smarter than the NFL front office.
should be no flag, suspension, or fine.

The guy behind Bolden hits him DOWN and into Smith.
Without that hit, Smith gets him in the chest area.

So yeah, it was ugly and I hope for the best, but no way you should blame Smith for that one.

    I agree and I disagree.

I agree that it should not be a suspension or a fine.

But I disagree that it should not be a penalty.

I mean, a rule is a rule and he violated the rule.

It doesn't matter what his 'intentions' were, he still violated the rule.

Guys who tackle by the facemask are not going for it when they lunge for a player. They just so happen to grab it in pursuit, but it's still a penalty, right?

Guys who rough the punter are trying to block the kick, not destroy the kicker. But that's still a penalty.

The rule clearly states that a helmet to helmet hit on a defense-less player is 15 yards and that is what he did, so I mean, as an official, it'd be hard to not throw the flag.

But when it comes to the fines and suspensions and stuff, that's when you taken into account human judgment and in this play, he wasn't trying to take a cheap shot.

    Unfortunately, the NFL disagrees.
