    Just because Luck isn't coming out doesn't make mallet a better qb. Moving him up just because the other guy isn't there is the type of moves that will get people fired. Kid is good, but he hasn't shown the ability to handle pressure (imo) He will probably go mid 1st round but if he wasn't a top 10 pick before, he isn't one now.

    Somewhat true but teams still have to draft based off of need a lot of times. This doesn't make a 2nd or 3rd round guy a 1st round guy but it could move Mallet up 4-5 spots which is a big deal when you're projected at middle of the first round.

    Somewhat true but teams still have to draft to win games and stay under the cap. If Mallet wasn't your guy then I don't think you take him just because the other guy left. Doing so, and tying up a crap load of cap room on someone you didn't want in the first place will sink you. Trade, Free agents are options until you get what you want but they should never compromise.
