:sob: :sob: :sob: Alabama's Mal Moore wants SEC to examine bye weeks | Sports from the Press-Register - al.com didn't LSU have to play Florida and Alabama coming off of bye weeks this season? I realize that over the last 6 or 7 seasons Alabama has had to play 16 or so teams coming off of bye weeks, but they have the SEC officials in their pockets so i guess it evens out. Mal Moore, die, thank you.
Give me a break. Everyone else seems to be fine with bye weeks, and even schedule them themselves. This gump needs to pick something else to complain about
When they use to schedule Vandy as an "extra" SEC game to serve as a tie breaker they weren't too concerned about equity.
there is something to it. i think ive heard whinning around here that UF has had a bye before the cocktail party most years.
For Bama to have to play 17 teams coming off a bye while the nearest team to us is LSU with 5 is a conspiracy on the part of SEC officials. It's obvious most SEC teams are making the Alabama game their SECCG. It's always been evident even when our program was struggling, beating Bama was special. But in the infamous words of Patrick Peterson "What the hey".
Who are those 17 teams? Because i recall having to play Alabama and Florida both coming off their bye weeks this season. And shouldn't Bama think about restructuring their OOC schedule before bitching to the SEC about how unfair life is. I understand the complaint i mean its not like Bama gets any benefits or anything, especially from the home office and officials. Where is the home office again?
